At Limitless Labs, you’ll join a passionate, execution-driven team operating in a dynamic startup environment - where ideas move fast, ownership is real, and impact is immediate.
About the Role
Our algorithm team develops the core intelligence: 3D perception, machining strategy optimization, physics aware models and more. We're looking for a Senior Algorithm Developer with a strong algorithmic background in both classical and deep learning methods.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, release and improve algorithms and models for recommending the best machining operations that balance customer valued KPIs such as machining time, machining tolerances and tool wear.
- Dive deep into the CNC machining domain to cultivate intuition to inform your algorithm development decisions.
- Collaborate with the Product team to discover and drive improvements in our human–AI interface.
- Own your models in production. Validate your solutions against real-world machining scenarios and customer parts.
- Research novel approaches to continuously improve our core technology.
Must-Haves
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in training and evaluating models.
- Experience in releasing and monitoring your models in production environments.
- Ability to reason about 3D geometry, machining tolerances, and manufacturing constraints
Bonus
- Experience with open source 3D geometry libraries such as OpenCASCADE, Trimesh, Pytorch3D and OpenVDB
- Experience with computational geometry, graph algorithms, scheduling optimization, or constraint satisfaction
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes - milling, turning, or both
- Experience in toolpath generation or CAD/CAM internals
